You bring the dress and try it on. We look at how it fits, explain the options and make the adjustments that help it feel right. Some dresses need a simple adjustment. Others need shaping so they stay in place when you move.

If your event date is close, we can talk about rush options depending on the dress and the amount of work needed. Both our Phoenix and Tucson shops handle prom dress alterations.

Our Prom Dress Alterations Services

Hem and Train Adjustments

We set the dress to your shoe height so it sits clean when you walk or dance. We shape or shorten the hem, adjust layers, and maintain the fall of the dress. If your dress has a small train, we can create a simple bustle so it stays off the floor when needed.

Waist and Bodice Fit

We take in or let out the bodice, waist or hips so the dress fits without pinching. This includes shaping princess seams, adding or adjusting boning and adding a small gusset when the dress needs more room.

Bust and Straps

We make the bust area feel secure and natural. We can shorten or relocate straps, add sewn-in cups or reshape the neckline if needed. The goal is steady support that holds through the entire event.

Details and Repairs

We handle light repairs and decorative work. This includes fixing a zipper, securing hooks, mending small tears and tightening loose appliques or sequin areas. The dress stays true to its original design.
